 Malcolm & Donna Zanca Malcolm Zanca is the President and owner of Harley-Davidson/Buell of Baton Rouge and the Hammond Harley-Davidson Shop. He has been a Harley dealer since 1975 when he and his dad, Vincent, acquired Harley-Davidson as part of their small motorcycle shop - Hammond Suzuki in Hammond, LA. Mr. Zanca and Malcolm ran the business together, Malcolm as Service Manager and lead tech, and Mr. Zanca headed up all other aspects of the business. Opportunity knocked in 1980 when the Baton Rouge dealership went up for sale. Mr. Zanca purchased the dealership and moved the operation to Baton Rouge on Main Street.
The dealership opened a new facility on Harrell's Ferry Road in July 1981 where it was expanded and remodeled twice. Mr. Zanca retired from the business because of declining health and Malcolm took over operation of the business.
Donna Zanca taught school in Ponchatoula while working with Malcolm on weekends, holidays, and summer vacations. She assisted in all aspects of the business.
As the business grew, it was time to relocate to a larger facility to meet the demands of the changing market. Donna retired from teaching after 20 years and began to work fulltime in 1994, and they moved to Baton Rouge. The new 40,000 sq.ft. facility on Siegen Lane opened its doors in November of 2000. Malcolm has recently served on Harley-Davidson's National Dealer Advisory Council as its President. He also served on the Buell Strategy Committee and Harley-Davidson's Financial Services Dealer Advisory Council. The passion and dedication to our business and their great staff has earned them the Gold Bar & Shield "Top 25" Dealer Award five times. The strive for excellence has always been Malcolm's goal in growing the business and making it fun at the same time.

| Operations Manager for Hammond H-D Laura Dove-Hodges has been working for Harley-Davidson Dealerships for the past 21 years, 16 of those years in management. She is a Southern California girl born and raised in San Diego. Her first job in a Dealership was as a receptionist and she has done every job in between. (Literally)! She has a strong work ethic and honest approach to doing business. That is why she has been so blessed with this career of 20+ years. Laura is not only a Harley-Davidson enthusiast who rides but she also has a passion for John Deere tractors. She loves animals and it has been her childhood dream to live on a working farm. | Service Manager for Hammond H-D Richard Hodges started his career with the Zanca family in 1978 while attending South Eastern University and LSU studying Mechanical Engineering. Richard spent the first 16 years as a line technician refining his natural technical abilities before moving to the position of Service Manager; the position he has held for the last 15 years. He holds the Harley Davidson's highest ranking of Master of Technology and continues to attend Harley University on a regular basis to be up to date on all the latest technology. He and his wife Laura run a small farm in the Independence area raising beef cattle in their spare time. Richard has a huge passion for aviation and loves flying, he holds a commercial pilots license and is rated to fly everything up to the Boeing 727. | Parts & Accessory Manager for Hammond H-D Tim has been in the Powersports industry over 20 years, and well over a decade of that time has been spent with Harley Davidson! He has had the opportunity to have served in a variety of positions that truly allow him to provide our customers with a higher level of customer service. Tim is passionate about all things Harley, and he proudly owns a 1979 FLH and a 1986 rigid frame "Frisce-style Sportster. The sportster was built in the kitchen back in 2003, and was recently a feature bike in the November issue of Iron Works magazine. When not helping folks personalize their bikes or locating a part for service, Tim is either renting one of Hammond Harley's rental fleet or promoting the benefits of the Rider's Edge new rider program taught bi-weekly at the Hammond facility. At home, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife Karey and their 3 children. The family also includes a dog & 2 "senior" cats! Tim also loves to cook, and has quite a collection of Harley Davidson and early automotive memorabilia.
